Tivo flashing lights of death.
Solid Red and Blue Lights. Last night, mid show, my roamio froze up with a solid red and blue light on the front. It seemed to eventually recover, before doing it again. A look at the history log showed a bunch of recordings over the weekend had failed due to "no power" (system had power the whole time...) and many others were partial recordings.

Feb 2, 2007 · Spent four days finding and shipping a new WD Green hard drive for my Roamio, put it in, and the blinking lights persisted. No joy. Found this thread, took 5 minutes to find a 12v 3A wall wart in my stash, and boom, blinking lights went away and TiVo booted up just fine. Swapped out the new hard drive for the old hard drive, and same thing. well i just unplugged the power from the drive, without hooking it up to a tv, as i have it here at work at the moment. but still the same cursed green blinking light. If you try to run a TiVo without the power connected to the hard drive that alone can blow the power supply (TiVo uses a switching power supply which depends on some load to work)

Nov 9, 2007 · Upon investigating, the light was the green power light on my TivoHD that is normally steady on. There was no video or audio signal coming from the TiVo to the TV, no other lights on the TiVo panel were on and the TiVo was completely nonresponsive to signals from the remote (the yellow IR detection light wouldn't even come on). Signal Strength LED. Flashing Blue (slow flash): Configured for 5 GHz connection but not yet connected. Flashing Green (slow flash): Configured for 2.4 GHz connection but not yet connected. Solid Blue: Connected at 5 GHz. Solid Green: Connected at 2.4 GHz. After deleting subscriptions to all TiVocasts, (including DL.TV, CNET, Cranky Geeks, and NYTimes Circuits) and doing a restart through the Setting menu, the blue light is now gone. Yours seems to get the the network screen so maybe its not dead. If the premier does the same thing, try a factory reset of your gateway/router or try another one. Also see if you got the new firmware where it asks you what moca channel you want to use. May 14, 2016 · The next day, sometime between 1 and 5pm, the four blinking lights again. In both cases, I had to unplug and replug the drive's usb and ac adapter power before unplugging and replugging the Bolt. Once done, it restarted. Thinking outside of the box, I turned off power saving completely and left it on 24/7.
