You are going to run through a lot more powder loading shotgun than you would pistol. Load data shows using anywhere between 16 and 20 grains of power for a 1 oz load. You will get between 350 and 440 shells loaded per pound of powder. As hard as titegroup is to find sometimes I don't know if you would want to burn it up in shotgun shells.I usually load with either WST or Titewad for 12 ga. 7/8, 1 or 1 1/8 oz. target loads in AA hulls with AA clone wads. To be fair, I've only loaded one box of 1 oz. target shells with the Ramshot Competition powder. It metered well with consistent charge weights. I shot a round of Sporting Clays with it alongside a box loaded with Titewad.

Titewad is a good powder but it does not shoot anywhere near as soft as WST. It is especially pushy with 1 1/8 oz. loads. But it burns very clean, is inexpensive and has lite charge weights. I had a feeling about that. I swapped out to a box of factory last weekend for my 2nd round from my WST reloads.
