Use composite video for an SD signal. Or, get an adapter that converts HDMI out of the Comcast box to component for the TV.
We do want a DVR with a hard drive, and I find that I am not the only one confused by the local and cloud DVR issue. From what I have read, we should be able to record 6 programs at once and watch them on any of our TVs that has a box. I will have to call CS, but I dread that, as it can be extremely frustrating.
