2018 diesel 9 speed auto transmission will not shift. I have approximately 83,000 on my 2018 Cruze TD. I had the transmission flushed by the dealership because I started having shifting issues. When I was going down the highway it refused to shift into 9th gear. I tried shifting it manually into 9th and it would not shift.

I was unable to remove the intake manifold because I didn't have the steps shown on how to remove the dash panels that kinda get in the way. I did remove the EGR valve and found it to be not ...Most of the issues are the usual diesel issues - exhaust sensors and DEF components. The engine is stout - a handful of turbos have been replaced on the forums and a couple people have needed to regularly clean the EGR. The Aisin transmission is programmed quite badly and some develop issues with slamming into gear from a stop as they pass 100k.

The codes is was throwing were P0191 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Performance, U0401 - Invalid Data from the PCM, and C0212 - PCM indicated Traction Control. They were able to recreate the issue at the dealer and followed the flowchart and ended up replacing the PCM.
