I want a cam to start kicking in about 2500 and go to about 6000. I was looking at the Tman TR625G.
If you want to up the compression on your motor, use the HD P/N 22179-99A cast pistons. That should put you at 10:25-1 compression with the factory 103" heads. Use the +.10 pistons so the machinist can hone your stock barrels to fit the new pistons. If you are going for "Bang for the buck," leave the heads alone for now.The smooth camshaft lobe ramps are gentler on valve-train components and reduce valve-train noise and wear. I had Woods TW777, which worked well, but that being said, this configuration will be more stock as far as the engine is concerned. Meaning the pistons, heads, and whatnot will be stock.
