I think the Imperial legionary is really good, and the kuzait darkhan, the falxman is pretty goodbut the Sturgian heavy spearmen sucks, the pikemen isn't good, the aserai mameluke is pretty good. Batannian armor is pretty bad and their best unit is the Faxlman, who is a 2h dps. Hence the infantry charges. Their big-long weapon needs room to work and your infantry will always lose to Vlandian or Empire units straight up. I keep my Batannian infantry in loose formation about 75% of the time.
