I've only had the car for 5 months, the warranty is out and I don't have one through the dealer, though they were kind enough to help me with the ongoing issues. Dealer finally found a fix after 3 trips. They tried lubricating, replacing actuator motor and finally replaced the latch assembly. The final one fixed it.

I started the car, put it in reverse, then when I tried to put it in drive (tip-tronic), it seemed to go from neutral straight to tip-tronic. Now it's stuck in the tip-tronic mode but the dash says it's in neutral.
