I just took delivery of my 2022 MYP this past Saturday, June 18, 2022, and it came with the Pirelli P-Zero summer tires.. I was hoping it would have come with the Michelin all-season tires. I contacted the local Tesla people and they told me that the type of tire that is on the car when it is shipped depends on the time of year.This is our third Tesla. I traded in my Model 3 Long Range. This build does not have the cargo cover. The sales person said that at the moment, those are on the 4680 Model Ys only and in Texas. The battery number is really the size of the battery. 4680 battery is 46mm across the top and 80mm long. 2170 is 21mm across top and 70mm long. There are some very small structural and manufacturing benefits to a Y with a 4680 battery pack. After 26k miles our rear MYP tires needed to be replaced because of severe wear on the insides. The fronts were good. Tesla recommends tire rotation every 6,250 miles (10,000 km) or if tread depth difference is 2/32 in (1.5mm) or greater, whichever comes first.

There's really no firm timeline on those being delivered and some of us need vehicles at certain times. Tesla have not indicated the benefits visible to the customer for models with 4680 cells.
