Zero like any scope. Don't confuse moving the dot vs moving the bullet. Put your POA, dot, on bullseye and shoot. Move bullet, POI, per arrows on elevation and windage knobs. It zeros like a scope. If the bullet hits low, move the elevation screw up, in the direction of the arrow.

The VX-6 had a reticle I had not seen before. A 3-18x50 CDS-ZL Firedot Windplex . So I researched and it's new for 2016. The reticle was very interesting since it was a fairly standard duplex but had windage hash marks. The elevation knob is exposed but has a small button on it that locks it in place.

My question is about the zero lock. The directions just talk about how to reset the turret after you've dialed your round in, that seems easy and straight forward.
