Joined: Fri Apr 03, 2009 5:26 am. by skoster06 » Sat Oct 17, 2009 2:52 am. rough country makes a great smooth riding lift for these trucks man, they have a 4inch that they specifically made to fit 35's. my buddy has an 89 with a 4 inch and 33's and he clears them just fine. if 33's is what you want your gonna be fine.
I would level or coil overs, especially for 33s. Just did a level myself and although I like it, I think the coilovers are a better setup. I would check with Alex at F150lifts. They are a vendor on this forum. Heres one of my truck with 33s before the lift only had to trim a tiny part of the bumperand after a 2.5" lift with 35s. 03 F-350 CCLB King ranch undergoing a 6.0 delete. 99 Fummins- SOLD. 95 F250- SOLD. 08 6.4- Totaled 12/19/10.IMO 35" tires w/ a 4inch lift is the best combo. 33" tires look almost to small to me on just a level like others have eluded. But regardless of what others think, its your truck so put on the setup that you like and can afford. the 305/55 trail grapplers are 33.4 tall and 12.6 wide. 35's look better under 6" of lift. Better make sure you include the cost of re-gearing in there as well. Leaving stock 3.55:1 gears and moving up to 33's let alone 35's will turn a Bronco into a gelding in short order. Rule of thumb is one standard gearset size per 2" of tire diameter.

For a 4" I would go with 35s. 35s for 4 inch. For sure. You'll definitely want to go with 35s.
