Horror stories. I want to hear peoples serving horror stories. I’m talking about those party of 15 you take for 4 hours and they run you like crazy & leave a terrible gratuity. Here I’ll start: I’m working a busy double (brunch in the am - dinner service after 3:00). A typical busy shift where I work would be around 30 covers. The restaurant I am currently at carries an average $10 meal. Despite the lower checks, by working on Saturdays I've managed to still leave a 6-8 hour shift with $120-150.
