Jan 21, 2015. #1. Thanks for all the replies reguarding my John Deere 6300 starting problem. Replaced the fuel tank fuel pump. The old pump was weak and the strainer was clogged and detoriated. With new pump, i have good pressure. I also replaced the fuel line from the pump to the filter. Bled air from line and filter and tractor started right up.
