The code I was getting when my jeep was doing the exact same thing was. P06dd. Apparently this is common enough on the new 3.6 they set guidelines to follow when you get the code. Step 1 reset the code and send you on your way. Step 2 change oil filter and pressure sensor and send you on your way. Heard it drains capacitors and makes it either give you "good" code or disables limp mode if codes are now okay. Going to give it a try today.
