And there's a really easy and difinitive way to tell the difference - the 1:7 barrels have a conspicuous "178" stamped down near the trunnion indicating 1 twist in 178mm. The 1:12 barrels are not marked 178. The flash hider has turned brown with rust, the carry handle, selector lever, trigger, rear stock pin holders, cocking lever, wide forearm sling attachment, hk bipod, rear sight all rusted.
