In response to Acadia Ray - My 2017 Acadia started showing the steering assist warning when starting the car, my check engine light was on, engine fans keep running on high and a/c stopped. I removed the negative battery connector, and reattached it as you suggested, and all is well!!!

It didn't help. When it finally always blew warm air in a/c mode then they discovered it was the actuator in the driver side vent. Mar 15, 2022 ...
