One of the engines suddenly developed a series single beep buzz with no warning light flashing yesterday. The engine was running smoothly, no sight of over heating or lacking of oil. But comes back on as soon as SDS is disconnected. The V6 and DF150/175 ECM's get their power from the battery sub wire - not the main battery cable. The ECM's are very sensitive to voltage drops, however your engine is not exhibiting any symptoms of an poor battery sub wire connection. I have a 2009 DF 250 it has a code 3-3 I replace the defective neutral safety switch it was showing open in forward. I ordered the three wire test lead to set the proper voltage and adjusted. I also ordered the Amazon Suzuki laptop kit to read the codes. I cannot get the codes to reset. I borrowed a known good ECM plug it.
If you need clarification on something please post back here. The 1-5 beep is the code for the exhaust manifold temp sensor. That means 1 of 2 things. 1. It means the exhaust manifold is running to run, and the alarm is warning you of that. 2. Or you have a faulty temp sensor in the manifold.
