UWorld is overkill and honestly taking time away from reading through board basics a second time. Study early and study hard.MedStudy had more concise information than MKSAP. For me, the best study tool was doing MedStudy and MKSAP questions and reading explanations. Also, MedStudy Board Review videos were helpful. An Ohio internist also studied from the MKSAP book for his initial 2001 certification and the print MKSAP 15 for his recertification exam in 2011. Read each question and it’s incorrect and correct answers. This will help with the “best answer” choices. You can do MKSAP 19 as extra for practice. IMO, the exam is 50% easy questions, 30% between the best answer, and 20% wtf did i just read. Uworld alone is enough, but you have to learn the explanations for every single question.
