I-130 was recieved October 8, 2021, under active review October 20, 2021. Damn that is fast. I wonder how they process the cases. I filed 4th of September, 2021. Only got Receipt Notice. No actively being reviewed yet. I'm honestly not sure. I just hope it doesn't just get stuck being actively reviewed for forever.So I submitted a marriage green card application for my husband on Monday July 18,2022. On Friday July 22,2022 I saw that USCIS processed my payment. Today (07/25/22) I received an e-notifcation with my receipt number. When I looked at the status of my case it says "actively reviewing". 3/ If you have the ok from the lawyer, then it take 1 to 2 weeks to do the paperwork and send that to the US Gov. 4/ Legally, the US Gov has 60days to answer. But in 2-3 weeks they just adjudicated your case. 5/ And then you will receive an answer from USCIS. It can be an approval, it can be an RFE or a denial. My case I-130 changed to actively reviewing 2 months ago and today just changed to actively reviewing again to one day ago. Anyone knows what the means? Archived post. Actively reviewing but approval in Documents tab. I got a notification from Lawfully saying that my I-130 was being actively reviewed. This was weird because it was ALREADY at that status before. So I logged in to the beneficiary account and saw an approval doc in the Documents tab. But the case status still says "actively reviewing.".
From what I know if you are an immediate relative of the Petitioner and your priority date is current then you can apply concurrently with I-485 (application for green card / adjustment of status) and this is if you are in the US. In my case I filed my I-130 concurrently with my I-485 because I'm married to a USC.
I did everything online on April 5th 2022 and since April 6th the case status says 'Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS'. I read on different forums that a lot of people dont get this message until a few months after submitting the i-130.In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1. It took 44 months for approval of the I-751. It took 4 months for approval of the N-400. It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony. It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..From what people have shared lately, it seems that the processing time is around 12 months total for the I-130. I see more and more people that filed in May/June 2022 getting approved (but not me, ha ha). So if you filed in December, I think that another 6 months is pretty accurate. If you sent your medicals, it doesn't mean that it took 10 months to look at your case, it means that your case is approved. Most people in November got approved after I-130 change to this as it actually meant it was approved. For I130, it took around 13 months from received to actively reviewing. My I485's status turned to actively reviewing on the forth day after the PD and remained that way for around one year until I got an RFE for my medical records. And based on my personal experience, they approved my I130 two days ahead my I485.
