Have seen a moose at the gas station 3 times I think. Comes down from the corner of the town lot, from the rise at the road which makes the t-intersection with the coastal road. Between the snowbanks seperating the lake and the highway itself and the houses, there's tons of defilade that predators WILL use to stalk and ambush you from.
