Shadow fury is really good for finding and killing bats but flower has a spam ability that clears rooms. Shadow fury also does more damage so it is really up to you.

Sep 18, 2020. #11. seeing as Warped AOTE has 265 damage, 265 str, whilst the Livid Dagger has a damaging item ability, perma maxed CC, as well as 2x the attack rate of it, whilst only having 210 damage, and 60 str, I'd still say that Livid is the better shout, due to the passive of it also giving it about 1.5x/2.5x damage.

However, livid has a few benefits: Fel sword's weapon damage perk does not scale with cata level, so it will only be comparable or worse than livid dagger (though you shouldn't be using either of them in cata).

My friend calculated it, withered is only better on Daedalus axe. Also fabled is even better on a livid dagger because of the 20% more damage chance, which will proc more often because of attack speed.
