Feb 3, 2009 · Probably the weakest architecture of any of the 10 wads I've listed, but it's an absolute classic and certainly deserves a spot in the hall of fame. 2002 A Doom Odyssey - One of the only good Doom I megawads available, and easily the best of the few IMO. Excellent immitation of the Doom I style on most maps, but much better design and architecture.

Zone from 1997 is a fun 7-map episode that has a lot of fairly large, somewhat exploratory maps. the texture alignment can be somewhat awful at times, but it kinda gives it a certain charm.
