The game does not save settings on exit, which is unexcusable since 2007 BF2 did, on the PSP even. Put that all aside it's a fun game to not take serious. Yes the servers are still active for Xbox, and it if you want to really get into a big play group, I'd suggest joining a Milsim.

The servers are going down for maintenance for 2 hours in AM hours and this kind of thing happens in every online game. Consider adding "for maintenance" after "shut down" in your title so it reads "Star Wars Battlefront 2: Servers Shut Down For Maintenance Tomorrow".
