I removed one and placed it in the shot reservoir on my Grabber machine. Set it re-size to .806 to .807, and you will be just right. That's not much of a change, but it will relieve a lot of stress on the collet. As far as the sizing ring on the 600 jr., just take what it gives and if they fit OK, then no problem. If it isn't sizing enough, then replace the ring. It's cheap.

I prefer the 600 for the resize feature , working up loads, more portable to take to a range , price point and to teach new reloaders on. Often times someone upgrading these 600s can be had for a good deal. For cranking out shells in volume, I recommend the 9000. 650 is fine, just get the MEC resizer. Note any "nailhead" or slight bulge at the top of the shell, where crimp begins. You want to at least adjust the finish die down to take off any bulge or nailhead. I think the crimp punch/die assembly may have been what my dad replaced (he said parts were missing and he ordered replacements) before he gave it to me and that the settings are just way off.Upgrade the pre-crimp to the "spin-dex" version, this will allow to to achieve any pre-crimp you want. The original one was adjusted using fender washers and only allowed 1/16" adjustments. Once again, if your pre-crimp is black in color this has already been done. Get a new charge bar and a bunch of powder bushings.

I have one of those fixed charge bars from my 20 gauge Mec 600 Jr. I think it was a 302 bar; 7/8 oz & 13 grains of 700X. Since I replaced that bar with a Universal Charge Bar, I've since reamed the holes larger on the fixed bar, then drilled and tapped holes from the bar ends.
