Set your "mood" to either FPS or Flat or dick around with the advanced EQ, in my experience the least amount of bass possible is the best, to much bass can drown out some sounds, such as boots shuffling on gravel and ADS sound etc. Basically anything that's slightly "higher pitch" won't make a distinguishable noise with too much bass. 2. true.
