Is tradovate good.

When I place an order on Tradovate, the volume seems wrong. It plays an "Order Filled" sound, but it's really loud. If I look at the notification settings (Settings -> Preferences -> Advanced Notification), I can play the sounds and they work fine. The volume seems normal. However, when I'm trading, the volume is so loud that the "Order Filled ... Free platform. Comparable if not cheaper commissions than AMP. For scalpers i would say tradovate is the way to go if you get the commission free trading package. Other than that the platform is pretty laggy compared to quantower , ninja trader etc, but it is a good starter platform. I used tradovate for over a year as my main futures, if it was dependable i would have stayed. I use Sierra Chart and Stage 5 now, it’s cheaper with same style membership and you do not get problems. If you don’t mind learning a new software that takes a while, it is way better. Candles do not lag at all, ever.As I said I don't use Tradovate, but basic data in CQG data in Ninjatrader is $12 a month, and it provides the main CME instruments, among many others. Either way, you are paying for market data. I suppose similar to the way that Samsung or Apple make phones, but the don't work without a carrier connection, which have separate contracts and fees.
