Nov 2, 2008 · The remote start shutting down after a few seconds and re starting, only to shut down again sounds like the bypass is not working properly. It could be in the way its wired, or a bad module itself. Sounds like what is happening is the remote start is engaging, starting the car, but the factory anti theft is not being shut down at the same time.
