I also wore a 34C before measuring as 30E (I'm down a cup size now due to weight loss, but same band). I didn't believe it at first and spent a bunch of time wearing too-loose 32DDs until I finally picked up a 30E. Perfect fit! The ABTF calculator is not all-seeing, and it can be off by a cup size or two (rarely more, though it's not impossible--see here for reasons why calculator may overestimate). Even then, you cannot expect every bra in 40I US / 40G UK to be a perfect fit. But the ABTF calc does get you way close than any other calculator! Try the exact same bra in a size up or down, depending on the fit issue, to see which is the problem. Wires.
