On my ltf 250 the rear yoke u-joint is splined and slides into the transmission. The Suzuki manual shows a slide hammer with a hook being used to remove the yoke. I took wire and ran it thru the yoke then wrapped it around a 32oz ball peen hammer and made a hillbilly slide hammer they popped right off.
